How To Eliminate Junk Food Habit With Raw Foods

Why not give it a try just for the heck of it. Once you've started incorporating raw foods into your food plans, keep adding them in and reducing the number of cooked and processed foods from your diet. Such food include fast food, snacks, chips, and cookies.

When you've done that for a while, you can have a junk food day. If you really miss your junk food, or think you do, then plan for it. Make it truly memorable and junk-worthy. You might be surprised when mid-way through your junk food day, you stop.

Junk food won't have the same appeal to you once you've started incorporating raw foods in your diet and stuck with it for at least a week. You've become more health conscious and you're thinking about what you're putting in your body. And if you really think about what junk food does to your body, all of a sudden it doesn't look so good.

It happens naturally. Eating more raw foods means you'll be able to resist things like chicken or hamburger. Feeling strongly about not eating animals may even be a possibility. Are you even aware of the warnings about handling chicken that you buy in the grocery store? Even ground meat. You may even have to wash your counters with bleach if meat was prepared on them. It's unlikely you'd want to eat something that would require bleach to clean the germs from your home. That's why the next time you see meat like chicken, you may start to think about germs. Besides, there's no flavor to it. So what's the point in bothering?

The junk food you once loved may not be as appealing anymore. Remember nachos and cheese? Well, the cheese you use is so processed, it's nothing but corn syrup and processed cheese and fats and chemicals. Just looking at it makes you feel like your arteries are grinding. You might even cut out dips for your vegetables and enjoy the taste of vegetables and fruits all by themselves.
