When you consider Fitness, you need to remember that it is actually not only performing exercises. Neither is it simply about your Weight Control, strength, stamina, Fat and Calorie Content. Fitness is actually a combination of all of these, and more. To easily fully grasp Physical Fitness, you must explore it's parts. But to succeed in fitness or maybe your Fitness Goals, you will need to balance all of its factors. The following has been generally agreed to be the 5 components of fitness:

1.Cardiorespiratory endurance

It is the entire body's ability, over endured durations of physical activity, to supply the necessary oxygen and nutrients to tissues, and also to eliminate wastes. To calculate this Fitness Component, you could step on and off a 10- to 12-inch-high step and then take your heart rate after 3-5 minutes. You can also perform long Runs and Swims to evaluate your cardiorespiratory endurance.

2.Muscular endurance

It is the ability of a muscle, or even a group of muscles, to sustain repeated contractions or to continue applying force from a fixed object. For a fitness evaluation of your muscular endurance, you could do push-ups on your own fitness mats. The more push-ups you can do, the fitter you can be.

3.Muscular strength

It is the muscle's ability to put in force for a brief span of time. You can evaluate physical fitness components, such as this, by weight lifting.

4.Flexibility

This is the ability to move joints and use muscles via their full range of motion. This needs to be executed before and after each workout. By conducting a simple motion and paying attention to just how far you are able to go, you'll be able to evaluate the overall flexibility of each and every part of your body. The sit-and-reach test is a good measure of flexibility of the Lower Back and Backs of the Upper Legs.

5.Body composition

This Fitness Component is the ratio of lean body mass to fat. Lean body mass represents the weight of water, muscle, bone and internal organs. Body fat represents the remaining fat tissue and it is shown as the percentage of total weight. Because muscle weighs more than fat, you should measure your body composition instead of your body weight once you assess your Fitness Level. Body composition can be assessed through the Body Mass Index or BMI. If you use body composition to evaluate your workout goals, it is necessary that you apply the same body fat measurement techniques.

As written in all fitness books, getting yourself into Stretching and Resistance Exercises will improve and increase your cardio respiratory endurance, muscular endurance, muscular strength, and flexibility to various extents. These are the elements of physical fitness.
