Oprah May Benefit From Growing Organic Crops

When an action receives support from someone famous in the media, it seems like it receives a great boost. Growing organic crops has become one such action recently and a certain big name is making sure that this happens. I don't think that anyone needs an introduction to Oprah Winfrey, so I will leave all of the formalities to the side. It's apparent that she has stepped foot into the area of farming and now I'm curious as to what the results of this will be.

It seems like Oprah has decided to try her hand at growing organic crops and it's possible that it couldn't be done without the work done on her farm in Maui. As a result, she has the means to go about it from an agriculture standpoint but she made certain that all of the legal initiatives were taken as well. This was seen due to her registration of the titles "Oprah's Organics" and "Oprah's Harvest." I don't think that networks the likes of Colle Farmers Market can deny the impact of this potential action.

I don't think many people will argue against the charitable nature that she has showcased in the past. This can be seen in the way the warm was managed in the past, as the crops which were grown were given to people who were interested on the matter. Bob Greene, a fitness expert as well as friend of Oprah's, said that the aforementioned crops would soon be sold in a market of sorts. I think that this has potential but whether or not it will be realized is something I'm concerned about.

Oprah has a great chance to do something stellar with this farm but she has to make certain that better prices are kept in mind. One of the problems that fell upon Prince Charles of Wales, when he decided to open a market, had to do mostly with pricing. Organic items go for much higher than others but it seemed like these were just too costly for anyone to truly invest in. Oprah has a broad audience to look to and, as a result, affordable rates are more important than ever.

Do I think that Oprah can follow through when it comes to growing organic crops? I strongly believe that she can because of the resources that, in theory, she can easily get her hands on. She will be able to afford some of the best, which means that her market can become one of the most profitable. However, this will not be seen if she doesn't take into consideration a number of setbacks that had fallen upon potential farmers in the past; these could make or break her work.
