Finding the perfect Diet Plan is one the few things that unite humanity. The Diet Plan that will help you lose the most weight in which you will love the foods and won't feel like you are on a Diet Plan. In simple terms, people want to stick to a Diet that will help them get rid of weight without making significant changes to their current lifestyle. The unfortunate reality is that such a Diet is only a dream. Contrary to what you might think, a Diet Regimen like this is the cause for the excess fat around your stomach. So, what is the perfect Diet Plan? What you will read next is something you should remember for infinity.

The first misconception we need to rid ourselves of is that we can go on a Diet, get rid of a bunch of weight, and then go off of the Diet Plan and keep our new slim waste lines. It doesn't work that way. We need to follow a better way of eating. With this better way of eating, we can acquire a better body and keep it.

In my quest for the Best eating habits, I have adopted several different regimens. The most productive ones for me were the Body for Life and the Atkins Diet. I believe that the reason for my success is that these diet plans allowed me to eat. For example, the Body for Life Diet Plan offered one cheat day in every week. I was much better at sticking to my Diet Regimen for 6 days a week when I knew that I just had to save the things I wanted to eat for my cheat day.

When I was on the Atkins Diet, I was allowed to eat plenty of protein and specific vegetables. I really like meat and cheese and certain vegetables so this worked for me. I didn't have to count calories and I didn't have to worry about restricting my portion sizes. But, I still longed to have a taste of ice cream and beer. I had this problem thinking that if I made a mistake that was it. The Diet is over. Start again from the first step. Four restarts crushed all the hope inside me.

What then is the Ideal approach? For me it is a mixture of the two. My body loses fat more effectively when I limit carbohydrates. So I've cut back on them. I now consume plenty of salads, vegetables and lean meats. I no longer eat potatoes, bread and carbohydrates from foods other than green vegetables. On one day of the week, I consume anything I want.

After all the time and energy I have expended, I finally have a Diet Regimen I can follow religiously. Is it the safest Diet? Probably not, but it still beats having an undesired sack of 40 pounds around my stomach. Due to the free day, I do not feel a sense of guilt or defeat. Most importantly, declining food is easy and painless when I know that I can receive it after some days. Give it a try or find a hybrid solution that you can stick with long term. I firmly believe in the idea of the cheat day as I don't think I could follow a Diet Plan plan strictly for the rest of my life.
